Dan Gurneys Alligator

Ever see Dan Gurney's Alligator bikes? I wonder if Honda took a close look at these, pretty popular idea, extremely limited supply. Sport bike styling and performance without the wrist crunching, back breaking ergos...

I've never seen anything like this before. I would definitely try it out though. I am curious to feel how it corners differently. I take it that these just never really caught on.

Are you trying to say that the Vultus is somehow connected to this Alligator bike? I can see how the seating position is related.

Seating position does look similar and that does help with making other proportions look similar to the vultus as well.

Garage
My issue with this is that even with the feet forward design, it looks like the rider is required to lean forward to properly control the bike. I don't know about you, but having my feet out in front and then trying to lean in isn't the most comfortable of positions. Maybe it's due to my recumbent styled "Aero-Belly", but when I ride feet forward, I want to be either straight up or even slightly leaned back. The Alligator does not appear to encourage that posture.

the reason you wont see many of these, likely EVER is that theres only 36 in existence. It was a pet project for gurney who used to find it difficult finding a bike with proper ergos for him because hes so tall. So instead he went and built his own...

Being an owner of one probably feels cool since you basically own a bike hardly anyone has. .
