There is some hope afterall! 2018 NM4

New today... http://blog.motorcycle.com/2017/04/0...-returns-2018/

And it's already hit the Honda site. http://powersports.honda.com/cruiser/2018/nm4.aspx

If it actually hits the floor in June, I'll get to ride again this summer. It's been almost a year since I sold my VFR in order to buy an NM4, only to get denied a 2017, and no 2016's here or in the surrounding states.

Nice! And I seriously shouted when I saw the NM4 in Ghost In The Shell.

So. They make everyone think they have discontinued the model, therefore selling off any remaining bikes. Coincidentally in the same year as a movie is being made that uses it. Then at roughly the same time the movie is released they also announce they are bringing it back into production at a slightly higher price but no changes. Coincidence???

That's really good and bad news. Good cause there will be even more NM4 Riders. Bad cause we don't have a collector's item. Really I'm. Glad to hear it. Thanks for the information.

That muffler on the 2018 model looks different...I feel like that is all they changed.

Maybe now aftermarket manufacturers (like Corbin) will invest in tooling to make parts for our bikes! (Not holding my breath, though. The bike will still be low production, because of it's radical styling.)

The exaust is different and though they talk about the intergrated saddlebags- the pic of the bike is without saddlebags and has the alternate rear turn signals if you don't get it with saddlebags. As far as i know, the US versions only come with saddlebags and not without.

From the various articles I've read about the June release bike, I can't tell if Honda considers it a 2017 or, 2018. Just curious.

Well Corbin did mine, and I believe Mike had them take all the pattern specifics off mine to be able to do production runs. He just didn't think there was enough demand to pull the trigger
